PIANO COURSE

With a traditional academic approach.

The piano course or lessons include:

With a pop-rock-blues-jazz-latin-newage setting.

The course or piano and keyboard lessons include:

elements of music theory
elements of harmony
reading music
basic keyboard technique
exercises with customised technical-stylistic address pop, rock, blues, jazz, latin, new age
modern repertoire pieces

Each lesson lasts 1 hour

GENERAL MODALITIES

Courses are held in the Glamour Studio in Ivrea and lessons can be given with our acoustic or digital piano, as appropriate.
Lessons are not group but individual, but it is possible to accommodate pre-constituted groups proposed by the student, from 2 to 6 people per lesson.
The lessons last 1 hour each and are organised in packages of 4 lessons, i.e. 1 per week for 4 consecutive weeks.
Lessons in each package may exceptionally be postponed by date by mutual agreement, but not cancelled, double postponement is not permitted; in the event of prolonged interruptions (holidays, away courses, etc.), the remaining lessons may be postponed to the return dates, with a maximum of 1 month's postponement, subject to forfeiture of the right to use and reimbursement.
We provide the books for the first months of the course (printable PDF files).
For days and times we could easily come to an agreement as at the moment I am not giving group lessons but only individual ones, but if you have a friend who would like to participate with you it is fine too and in that case the price is cheaper.

PRICES

Individual lessons:

Prepaid package of 4 lessons of which 1 per week for 4 consecutive weeks: € 130.00

Prepaid package of 8 lessons of which 2 per week for 4 consecutive weeks: € 210.00

Lessons for 2 students at the same time (e.g. you + a friend, together):

Prepaid package of 4 lessons of which 1 per week for 4 consecutive weeks: € 90.00 per student

Prepaid package of 8 lessons of which 2 per week for 4 consecutive weeks: € 140.00 per pupil

Lessons for 3 simultaneous learners (e.g. you + 2 of your friends, together):

Prepaid package of 4 lessons of which 1 per week for 4 consecutive weeks: € 70.00 per student

Prepaid package of 8 lessons of which 2 per week for 4 consecutive weeks: € 110.00 per pupil

It is also useful to know in advance:

whether you have an acoustic or digital piano to practise on, equipped with the correct features
what in detail is your previous study experience (if you have any)
which course of study do you prefer: traditional classical - modern pop rock - modern jazz latin
whether or not you want to learn to read sheet music (I strongly recommend yes)
others and possible to be evaluated together
